Did I mention that I returned to the US and am now back in California? I spent several weeks upon my return practically skipping from place to place, brimming with joy at being back in familiar environs and seeing faces I had missed. I wanted to sprawl across the grass like the many fatty catties in the neighborhood and soak up the sunshine and phenomenally good weather. I ran a lab during the first summer session which came and went in a snap. I've been living with my sister and we've been bantering around as we do, prompting people all over the place to stop and ask if we're sisters. Furthermore, it looks like I'll be in the US, in California, for the rest of 2011, with the exception of a few planned trips to the Midwest.
